This area of Scotland is absolutely stunning and a short drive of 15 minutes in any direction will you have you exploring quaint villages, castles, lochs, forests but equally a short drive on the motorway can take you to the larger places like Dumfries, Carlisle and Gretna Green.
Moffat is a stunning little market town with loads of eateries and cafes and independent shops and plenty of entertainment within the local bars.
The onsite bar has great entertainment most weekends. There is also a kids park next to the club house. There is an onsite lake which is beautiful for a morning and or evening stroll, where you can watch the many different birds.
